As a local, independent charity Citizens Advice Winchester District has its own Board of Trustees who are responsible for deciding how our local service is run and making sure our charity is fulfilling its purpose.

Being a trustee is a vital role and many trustees find it really rewarding to put their skills and knowledge to use, gain experience of strategy and leadership, and give something back to their local community.

Trustee vacancies

We also have the opportunity for general trustees to join our board and help lead our charity over our next phase of development. We would be especially interested to hear from applicants with experience of managing change, as the local government reorganisation currently underway is likely to impact us.

You don’t need to have had experience of Citizens Advice, or of being a Trustee to apply – just a commitment and enthusiasm to help us shape the work and strategic direction of our forward-thinking charity.

Becoming a Trustee offers a great opportunity to gain experience in leadership, governance and strategy, and is a wonderful way to give something back to your local community.
