About Us

We provide free, impartial advice to thousands of local people every year.

Problems around money, health, work, or family can ruin lives and unfortunately many of our clients are in or near crisis point.

We help people find a way forward during times of great stress and anxiety.

Our Team

The success of our service relies on a dedicated and compassionate team of staff and volunteers. Over 80% of our workforce are volunteers, some of whom have been with us for many years. Our small paid staff provide overall management of the service and deliver specialist advice.

“Our amazing team of volunteers are essential to our service –without them we simply couldn’t exist. This wonderful group of individuals help us to deliver advice, greet our clients and support our service behind the scenes.”

Chief Officer, Dr Sue Campbell
