Food Banks

To get food and other essentials from a food bank you need to be issued with a food bank voucher from a referral agency. There are lots of different places that can refer you including Citizens Advice. There is some useful information about using a food bank on the Citizens Advice website.


Winchester Basics Bank

Open Monday-Friday in different locations across the city including Highcliffe, Weeke, and Bar End.

Delivery in exceptional circumstances on Tuesday and Friday.


Meon Valley Food Bank

Open Tuesdays 10am-2pm at Wickham Community Centre.

Delivery in exceptional circumstances.


Waterlooville Food Bank

Monday (9,30am-11.30am) and Friday 12-2pm.

Wecock church, Waterlooville


Food pantries

For £5, you’ll receive goods worth approximately £15 (limited to one shop per week). No referral is needed.

Open Tuesdays (1- 3pm, 6- 8pm) at Wickham Community Centre
