About Us

About Us

We provide free, impartial advice to hundreds of local people every month.

We help people find a way forward during times of great stress and anxiety.

Our Mission

We’re passionate about improving the lives of local people through free advice, support and campaigning. We help people to overcome their problems, uphold their rights and create a fairer society for all.

Our advice helps keep a roof over people’s heads, put food on the table, heats homes, manages debt and gets welfare support to those who need it most.

“We can all face problems that seem complicated, overwhelming or unfair but knowing what steps to take next can be incredibly challenging – particularly when you’re coping with multiple issues or have additional needs. Citizens Advice is here for everyone – solving problems and transforming lives.”

Dr Sue Campbell, Chief Executive
