Reaching People Together

A new partnership-based initiative launched by Citizens Advice Hampshire during the pandemic that aims to tackle the underlying causes of health inequalities in our local community.

There are many causes and triggers for health inequality but poor housing, unemployment, poverty, ill-health, and relationship breakdowns can all be a factor, and they’re all issues that Citizens Advice can support people with.

By working in partnership with other local groups and organisations working with vulnerable or hard to reach people across Hampshire, we can get our advice and support out to those who need it most at the earliest opportunity.

If you’re a local community group or charity that supports vulnerable people and would like to get involved, please email us

Advice First Aid

A key element of Reaching People Together is providing Citizens Advice training to frontline workers in other local partner organisations to become Advice First Aiders.  This free training will give these individuals and groups the skills they need to triage for advice, deliver initial guidance and refer into Citizens Advice when needed.

Another element of Reaching People Together is enabling our partner organisations to refer clients into their local Citizens Advice. Refernet provides a quick and easy way to do this, plus our partners can refer to each other too.
