Winchester Basics Bank, a charity founded and supported by local churches and aided by caring organisations and Winchester City Council, provides emergency food and clothing and is available for all people in the city and surrounding area.

Alresford Pigs is a community of volunteers supporting local families, individuals, groups and organisations with fundraising and community wide events.
Out on the streets of Winchester city centre each Friday and Saturday night, offering reassurance, safety and support by caring, listening and helping. In the summer, Street Pastors are also out in non-city centre locations to engage with the under 18s and parents of younger children, chatting and offering a positive role model.
