We’re delighted to announce that Citizens Advice Winchester District is establishing a new advice hub at Wickham Community Centre.
The move is part of our plans to increase accessibility and extend our reach to people across the district. It will also provide a permanent base for us in the south of the district, following the announcement that the building currently home to our Bishop’s Waltham office is being sold.
Wickham Community Centre is a thriving community hub and provides the ideal base for a satellite office for our services, which will operate alongside our main office in central Winchester.
Sue Campbell, our Chief Executive says “We’re incredibly excited by this move to Wickham Community Centre. The new location is a fantastic, welcoming and accessible space and the move also provides the perfect opportunity for closer partnership working between us and the many local groups who use the centre.”
We are hopeful that our new Wickham office will be up and running in early December, at which time the office in Bishop’s Waltham will cease operating. However, we will continue to have a presence in Bishop’s Waltham through fortnightly open advice sessions at Bishop’s Waltham library.
